CEFE Workshop on Micro Entrepreneurship
BRI-GTZ RED 2008

In order to enhance the entrepreneurship skills of micro borrowers in business management, Micro Business Division of Bank Rakyat Indonesia, in cooperation with GTZ-RED, a Germany Institution for Technical Assistance, conducted entrepreneurship trainings, called CEFE (Competency-based Economies through the Formation of Enterprises) in two batches attended by Kupedes customers.

Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC)-GTZ

Coordinated by GTZ, Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) sent their representatives to BRI to attend a two-week training and study visit program. The visit, which is yearly in nature, was meant to expose PSBC’s top managements to BRI micro banking policy and practices which will later be adopted and developed by PSBC in China. Among the delegates was Prof. Seibel, a writer who has special interest in the development of microfinance around the world.
